Numnah's when they are dirty, every few uses I supose, more if they don't get sweaty or hairy. Fleeces likewise. Nothing else gets cleaned really. Rugs, maybe if they also need repairing, but have a number of rugs which I don't think have ever been cleaned & are probs 5 yrs + old. As for washing headcollars.... eh? I wouldn't put most of the stuff in my washing machine, my stuff goes in there.
