Such a sweetie :) Mille is thoroughly at home after nearly a year (!!!!) with me, just need to stop her infuriating habit of barking savagely at other dogs when we pass them in the car.... she is as nice as anything when she actually meets them face to face!

I do love a brindle. My Sash lurcher was dumped when the police caught her owner coursing, I wonder if it was the same for Millie?

Beautiful. I now have 2 ‘second hand’ dogs! Neither abandoned- but families were not looking after them and no longer wanted them both after about 2 years.

I know circumstances can change but I am still shocked by people disposable attitude when it comes to animals. When I took on my last dog (also a 2 year old, poor thing on free advertising site) I was prepared for a decade of ownership despite his issues (reactive with most other dogs) and devastated when I only got 3 years due to his cancer.

MoC that did make me giggle - naturally I am now wondering what the word is :D

Millie was found as a stray in Leominster, I will always wonder if she was meant to be a working dog but she is still very young and has no scars so she must have been pretty useless at an early age - which doesn't seem to match with her prey-drive now :)

I will be thankful to Blanche forever for pointing her out to me, goodness knows why she wasn't snapped up when she was in kennels!

Mine too was a dog who found herself unwanted at 6 months old. Whilst I hate that someone had so little regard for her they just gave her up, I am eternally greatful as she is my greatest little pal.
