I know its cr@p isn't it!
The only time I can ride in the week is the evenings when OH finishes work to look after little one.
Im going to try and make the most of getting out at 6.30 ish for a half hour whip round the block.
The only pro in winter s hunting!

I know! It seems to have chanegd on 1st Sept to winter, overnight! The dark nights drawing in are horrible, it doesn't feel as though we've had a summer at all

I've managed to ride in the evenings twice now in the last three weeks, due to the evenings drawing in so quickly. My official office hours end at 5.30, but recently we've been so busy that it's been rare for me to get away before 6.15, which means that there simply isn't enough light to ride by the time I get to the yard at about 7.30 (have no school, or floodlights).

At the moment, on the rare occasion when I DO get out of work on time, I can fit at most 1/2 an hour in, but in a couple more weeks' time I won't even be able to do that.

Still, I really enjoy my job (it could be better paid though) and I wouldn't change the little yard and the land I rent for anything else, so what right have I got to complain?
