Basically my horses chest/ lungs are in a bad way I have got her checked because of white mucus coming out of nose they don’t think it an infection or anything like that. They think it’s a chronic issue possibly caused by an allergies my horse has always had a cough but it was never bad enough to get a vet out. It wasn’t my normal vet she recommended to get a prescription for ventipulmin from my normal vet. which I have no problem getting the horse something they need but I have noticed in the past they are very reluctant to prescribe it. I know people horses that we sneeze up green mucus but they were just told to get wet hay and they refused to give anything for the horse.
