I am still very saddened that the British Open Show Jumping Championships are no more. I used to LOVE going to that, but... The reason they gave for 'culling' it was financial, I remember.
So I was thinking... how do horsey events make money? I mean it costs quite a bit to stage them. Can they make enough money through sponsorship?
It's just... I've seen loads of people complaining about the costs of the tickets for horse trials, and well, I don't think they are actually that expensive compared to other things you could do instead (Alton Towers, Cinema, etc.). Am I not getting something right?!?
