How do I attach photos?

How do I attach photos below my posts and or at the side where my name pops up? Im hoping its something really easy to do, I have tried but think i must be looking in th ewrong place. help please!!!!

user options > Personal information, email, password, etc. > signicture

If you send me the photos I will resize them so you just have to post the url in the signicture box

pm me the photos if you want me to

I am having difficulty doing this too - think it may be picture type - please can you help me too?!!! Thanks.
