I have a 12v Battery for my fence and as I'm new to this electrics fencing business. Cant remember how to connect the charger, please can u advise me how to. We have a charger in the kitchen at the yard.
How do i charge the battery for my fencing?

Take battery to charger. Make sure charger unit is OFF
Identify the charger leads (1 x red & 1 x black) and also the terminals on the battery - you will have a + and a - (usually!) marked on the battery terminals
Connect red lead from charger unit to the + and then black lead to the - terminals.
Make sure clips are on firmly.
Then switch on charger unit
Edited to add: Periodically check how the battery is charging, particularly if an old charger unit. It does a unit/battery no good to be left on charge once it is fully charged.
Car batteries may not always 'take' if completely run down, leisure batteries are best left to run down completely before charging.

A bit of spit (or water if you prefer) on the battery terminals helps a better connection - BEFORE you switch on the current!
