As above really.

After reading another post I'd like to check if my horses details are on the NED data base. I have registered but where do I click to find out if their details are on there?

Thanks.

I registered on there and you have to enter their passport number into the bit where you can search. My horses came up straight away - you have to then link them to yourself. If you haven't then their passported name should do it. If they aren't on there you can add then as you are the owner but you have to be registered as the owner as they check before they approve you as the owner.

It says you have to pay. Is that right?

Afraid so if you want to 'associate' with it but you can check if the horse is on there first without paying I'm sure then add him as a favourite so you don't have to search again. Then after checking he is on there as long as he's registered in your name you can 'associate' and pay then add details such as does he have a microchip/freezemark, add pics too and so on. It does depend what passport your horse has too as to how much detail will be on there already. Hope that helps.

Ahhh, ok thanks for that. Only 2 of my 5 are on there so I'll have to notify the societies they are passported with. What about my mare who is passported with the Hanovarians in Germany?

I think it's only British registered passports that are on there, could well be wrong though, you need to check; they're a bit slow answering emails but will get to you in the end.
As to the others, are they in your name and how long for? Some PIOs are very slow uploading their information to NED, it took one of mine over six months to be on there. As far as I can tell, my ISH mare won't ever be included because she has an Irish passport even though she's in my name and I'm in England!
