Had a look at the BE site - anything else I need to know? Problem will be finding someone to come with me - last thing OH wants is to watch horses at 1 fence all day - I'd quite enjoy it really - also potential busman's holiday as he's an equine vet.

Something to keep me occupied when he's on call maybe?

Just volunteer - West Wilts are always looking for people and they look after you as well with free lunch, chocolate all day

try Mrs Susan Clayton
Lower Farm, Berrick Salome, Wallingford, Oxfordshire, OX10 6JL. Phone: 01865 891073. Fax:As Tel. Mobile:07768 721241. Email:sue.clayton2@btinternet.com.

She runs a number of events local to Bristol and is always looking for fence judges...

Sorry - being dense - volunteer to who - organisers - entries secretary - or centre running it - don't want to bother the wrong busy people...

People won't mind you bothering if its about volunteering and different events have different people who organise volunteers. I would call the organiser and if they will point you in the right directions.

Call the organizer, they,ll be only too pleased to hear from you!!!

Have a look on BDWP under local events to you, they usual put a bit about *if you can help/fence judge etc* call this number.

That or just email the event secretary they would be able to let you know, that or the organiser found on BE website.

Ive been doing it for years now, and love it
