I put my scarf on my stable door and my horse decided to pull it off and throw ir around and trample all over it in a stable that I hadnt yet mucked out,

I have washed it 3 times with tons of washing powder and fabric conditioner, febreezed it, (havent tried oust yet) and it still stinks, my other half is going to kill me if he finds out, it was a xmas prezzie, and i said i wouldnt take it to yard, ooopsie

so just wondering if anyone new of any old tricks to neutralise it lol

My sister used to swear by bicarbonate of soda to get the smell of cat/dog out of carpets/furniture???May be worth soaking it in a solution of that.

I ditto the hanging it outside for a couple of days suggestion. Also, have you thought of popping into a pet store and buying one of those products used for removing the scent of animal pee/pooh? One of those might help.

Carex hand wash is supposed to remove strong smells. Maybe wash the scarf in a solution of that? That might work.

Another suggestion: My son wet his bed one night and his waterproof matress cover had moved in the night (flaming typical

). I used Odour Eater Odour Remover Spray on the area. I'd bought it on eBay and it was brilliant. On the mattress it took a couple of applications, allowing it to dry inbetween. But it took out both the stain and the smell. It 100% worked. Maybe that would work if you could find a bottle. It's really effective stuff.
