How do I look on this horse...size question.

Certainly not too big, you look fine, but if your going to be really particular (some people are which is fine) then some might say you'd look better on a bigger horse (say if you were showing for example and riding hunters) so it really depends on how much of a perfectionist you are...I think you look lovely and well... if look daft, then there is no hope for me on my boy

I think you look fine on him, but as FMM says the "picture" wouldn't be quite right for showing. I'm 5'10" and I have fun riding 15 handers, but to really feel at home on a horse I need something 16.2+, preferably 17hh. For some reason I feel more effective on something bigger.

You have the same issue that I do Chloe, long in the body, and so it is important to find a horse that has enough in front to make for a nice, balanced picture. P is short in the neck, so I look positively massive on her, even though she is full up 16.2hh, then another horse, same height, but different head carriage, and I look OK...
