Hello found a horse in a bad state told my dad about her (dad doesn’t have a clue about horses) he bought her for me only found out recently she isn’t passported nor microchipped what should I do?

No clue myself but the people who had her before she was sold at Appleby treated her well got in contact with a friend of old owners

You can get a passport for her, just get a vet to come out and they will microchip her, fill in a form identifying her and talk you through what happens then, but first I think you need to talk to the old owners and find out what you can about her past, age etc. There is always a chance that she has been stolen. Ask your dad where he got her from ?

Doubt she’s stolen (could still be a possibility tho) the friend of the original owner (was on the same yard as the actual owner) of the original (had her from birth) but she’s just never been passported but I do know her age she’s 4 n I’ve never had to get one passported they always came to me with one but I’ll get the vet out n passport her thank you so much I kind of know where she came from just don’t know the people well I’ll get my dad to speak to them

By this I mean that the people who had her before us bought her from appleby we didn’t get her from appleby ourselves

You told your Dad about her and he bought her but you don't know who he bought her from? That sounds a bit strange!
