I've just sold my saddle on ebay and not quite sure how to post it

Where can I get a big box and bubble wrap from? Do I just send it through the post office or should I pay a company to deliver it?

Thanks.

Post Office may be able to help with packaging OR go to a warehouse near you are ask if you can have a box and bubble wrap.
You'll have to send it via courier as it is too big and too heavy to go by normal delivery. It cost me about £20 to send via courier. Post office can send by Parcel Force for about the same cost.

I recently sold a saddle on ebay and sent it via Parcelforce's 2-day delivery service. If you log onto their website you'll find some very helpful advice about sending parcels and how best to package them for their weight. It was a simple process to follow and I was able to track the parcel right up to its delivery... I would definitley recommend.

I purchased all of the packaging materials from my local Staples store.

Hope this helps!

Go local supermarket and ask em for a big box.... go postoffice buy bubble wrap and that polystyrene stuff. Wrap saddle in bubble wrap fill box with polystyrer stuff squidge saddle in..... take to post office......... or actually if you can weigh it somewhere you can get parcel force to collect!

Post office, so easy and they are very helpful, do it special delivery and it doesnt cost as much as you'd expect.

I sold my saddle and had to post it. I used a courier that would have been £6.99 plus vat but I opted for the insurance to cover £200 (plus the standard £50) and that cost me £12.99 plus vat total. I got a box from Sainsburys, I just rang and asked and they got me one out of the storeroom. PM me if you want the courier details, excellent service, and they use DHL.
