How do I wash a sheepskin girthsleeve?

Machine wash at 30deg & use Biosol (Bartl's own detergent). Then dry it naturally & they come up like new. We did this with a Bartl sheepskin saddle cloth & it came up great.

If you can't get Biosol at your tack shop you can buy it on line...I got mine off Ebay

I pop mine in the machine on a wool wash and then let it dry naturally.

I recently bought some of the sheepskin wash stuff but im not too sure I like it much.
 
I have a Mattes one, and wash on a 40 deg wash with an ordinary non biological washing tablet. It has been washed lots of times and comes up as new.
