How do i work out what work load my horse is in

I am just bring my horse back into work after my horse having a year off work

I need to feed him up, and the feed i will be feeding him all depends on his work load, so how do i work out what work load he is doing

At the moment, he is doing 5/6 days a week which includes either, 20 minutes of lunging, 20/30 minutes of schooling (which includes mainly walk and trot and canter). I have a lesson once a week with him, i go out hacking at the weekend this could be between 20 minutes to 2 hours

Would this classify as Medium work load?

I would class that as still light work

I'd say that is light work still, unless the hacking is fast and the schooling is really quite intensive.
