explain to my hairy, native looking TB that he needs to stay out in the field until the end of October without him making me feel like a bad owner?

When I bring him in for his tea he flatly refuses to walk back out to the field without a fight

He's hobdayed and has arthritis so it's best for him to be out for a while longer. Can someone please explain this to him

I have opposite problem..... horse had his shoes done today and i wanted him to go back inside for an hour as it was peeing down and i didnt want to get wet!!!

Basically stood outside stable and wouldnt move an inch....Just spent the whole time staring down at the field

I got absolutely soaked to the skin takin him down. He loves being out and now i have got him a rambo duo he doesnt get wet or cold so he knows its best for him (also arthritic)

Have you tried blowing raspberries at him as you skip away from the gate (just after you abandon him in the cold and rain)?

i love it - ace photo, made me chuckle - i have the same with mine and shes in at night - decides its dinner time from 3pm and just pines for me by the gate!
