Get the inside of this clean? It has that horrid green stuff in it, it really needs coming off but how? Can i buy something to put in it that dissolves it?

I take the plate off a wallpaper steamer, put the hose inside the upside down container and run through a whole tank of water. Then I put a little water in the container, add about half a pound of rice, put the lid on, give it all a good old shake about, tip the rice and green water out and give it a thorough rinse.

Milton steralising fluid, bicarb of soda, soda crystals......
Just make sure you rinse out properly

Milton Sterilising Fluid or supermarkets own brand works wonders. If it's safe for babies, it will be safe for horses - we also use it to clean our gerbils bottles when they get algae in them. Just rinse well afterwards - nice and easy to use and effective.
