how do i get directly to my post, without trawling through all the other posts on the board.

you can toggle it then access it through your user options. the toggle is in left hand corner at top of posts

If you click on your name which is to the left hand side of your posting it will take you to your profile. If you then choose 'show all user posts' you will see a list of all the posts you have made.
