How do i......?

Hi, tomorrow i need to sedate my horse using dermosden(sp) gel. Does anybody know the quickest way to get it under her tongue as quickly and easily as poss?

Never used it but I guess if you get someone to help you hold the head, go sideways on like when you worm, put your fingers in the corner of the mouth to open it and between you get hold of the tongue, then you may get it in the right place. Is it runny stuff? Just wondering if you could syringe it under the tongue.?

It comes in a syringe (like wormer), just stick end of syringe under the tongue and administer, then hold up jaw to stop it being spat out.
