How do teenagers stay warm!!

I FREEZE - I have Raynauds though so does that count?! I wear 2 strappy tshirts, long sleeved tshirt with short sleeved polo shirt over the top then a hoody, puffa waistcoat, tweed coat and then reflective yellow waterproof coat over the top with scarf, headband and sealskinz gloves. With 2 pairs of tights/ 1 pair of socks and jeans on --- yes, I'm still always freezing. I have to slip heated handwarmers into my gloves

Attractive is not what I look like at the yard!!

pot noodles are RANK. They actaully taste of nothing but the plastic container they come in,.....but, if brown hot water with some plastic noodles is your thing,....go for it! I usually go for cup-a-soups, or those new hienz squeazy sachet things - nom nom nom! Something about tomato soup on a cold crisp day that just makes all my troubles disapear for 5 mins!

I don't care about the tatste, I just want something warm!:')

Well I'm a teen (just) and I have to wear tights under johds, vest, rugby top/fleece and then padded coat, hat and gloves at the yard! Guess I'm not made like the rest of them... There is a boy on my uni course who turns up to his lectures in flip flops! In this weather!

I go to work with thick jods, trackies on top, ski socks, wellie warmers, winter muckerboots, long sleeved top, polo shirt, fleece, thick hoodie then a ski coat on top, and thick ski gloves! I look like an oompa loompa but it's warm :D however if I ride I just wear my jods, normal riding boots and my long sleeved top with a polo shirt and I still get hot! But if I'm on the yard I freeze unless I'm muckung out.

Well I'm a teen, but I'm crap at regulating temperature
An average day at the yard in winter I'd wear tights or leggings under jods, thick fleece lined winter muckers with long socks, a cosy hat (with ear flaps), either a ski top or one of those thermal sports tops (like rugby players wear :D ), a fleece, my jacket and thinsulate gloves. If it's wet or windy I usually stick on a pair of water proof trousers on top and if it's very nippy I'll wear a woolly scarf.

I can't pull off the just hoodie look as I turn funny colours (a vast array of shades from scarlet to blue), especially my fingers, which also get stiff and sausage like, tis a far cry from looking nice.

Mind you, when I ride I wear very little. Last night (ie 8:30) I rode in just a long sleeve top and was still all hot and red faced. Also in school we go outside every single lunch time, in just our uniforms though we do bring jackets from more extreme conditions (snow, lashing rain). We stay out for much of the full hour though come in a bit nippy...

This post has made me chuckle as the parent of an early 20,s young lady I am constantly saying " aren't you cold?" as she ventures out in just a fake tan lol However, the opposite happens when she is at home in our nice warm house when she will have enough clothes on to keep an army warm, be sitting on her bed under her duvet moaning that she's cold!!! Youngsters eh!

i used to be exactly the same! i would even get down to just a t-shirt with thermal vest underneath when doing stables on my own for the YM on boxing day or new years day. as soon as i reached 19/20, i would even get cold grooming at shows in the summer. or maybe living in the city and doing an office job has made me go soft...
