I do hibiscrub too, might try soda crystals now though. Have just been told off for washing numnah and head collar in house washing machine not annex aka the hubby designated animal machine, didn't say that the animals don't mind washing their things with his!!!

Another vote for the dishwasher. If you have a partner or housemate though, best to do it when they're out.

Bucket, warm water, washing liquid, touch of disinfectant, leave to soak, whiz about in bucket, tip contents of bucket out and leave in the sun... Done!
