How do you display your rosettes?

Does anyone have any ideas on how to display rosettes that are then easy to move? I will be moving house soon and have them displayed just on string on the wall but bit of a pain to move.

TIA

I have them on a giant piece of small square holed weldmesh, they just hang up like a giant picture then. Have just taped the edges so they don't scratch.

Yes I have done it in my horsebox, but now I have a rope in the stable and display mine on it with clothes pegs out of reach.

I left this years at mums!
One of the weldmesh set ups is also at mums, above my bed, apparently when my sister last stayed she used my room as her was being decorated and it promptly fell on her head in the middle of the night :D :D

I used to use string but found they'd all clump together in the middle and sag if you put too many on. I like the clothes peg idea, might try that if next time I move. Currently I prop them up on the dado rail round my room, opposite my bed so I see them last thing at night and first thing in the morning. I used to keep them all but couldn't face moving them all again so only kept the really nice ones. I also prop any plaques I get up there. Haven't worked out how to display the sash though, it's currently looped round a bit of string that's hooked on a nail in the dado.

Ah I thought so, it looks like the antislip stuff I have under my rugs so will keep that in mind for future.

Yes, they are made of the non-slip stuff! My OH bought me one as a birthday gift. You could make one quite easily, all you need is a sheet of the non-slip, a dowel rod, possibly a glue gun and some ribbon :) I might attempt one myself if the other one ever gets full :D

They do look nice :) and easy to move the whole lot. Mine are currently hung on the spare room door.

I've got my current ones on a wire noticeboard in the kitchen. After my pony was put to sleep I wanted to make a display of hers so bought a polystyrene wreath from Hobbycraft, cut the tails off and wrapped them around it to cover it all, then glued/pinned the centerpieces to it and now it hangs in my living room. Not sure if I've described it particulary well, but it looks nice!

that does sound nice :)
I only keep the red or fancy ones these days, they are all strung on a rope outside my stables. My old ones are all living in a box at the yard, I can't bear to throw them so I might do something creative with the one day

Like milliepops mine are nearly all in boxes. I used to use string but that became a bit of a pain. Any special ones such as championship rosettes are pinnned to a large cork board with a photo of the horse in the middle (each horse has their own board)

This is what i do, much better than string or cork board. Ours is in the lorry and looks really smart, its all colour co-ordinated :D this is part way through putting them up;

I keep a couple of special ones on their own on the other side, my favourite ones!

I bought this sort of mesh http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-5mm-Spa...hash=item4b20fe3962:m:m0KSik8lZ3wAvypbuVFSYTQ which has little holes in to push the rossettes ends through. For my sons room, I cut a big panel then stuck it along the top (gorilla glue) to an old piece of skirting I had lying about which I painted with his name and the ponies name then drilled two holes and hung off a nail by ribbon. Does the job!

A string hung of the stair bannisters with loops knotted in for the rosette hooks, cheap, works well and the cats love it. Also have an old picture frame with the glass taken out and lines of fishing wire across for the posh ones.

Mine have been in boxes and bags for years, but I'm starting to get creative! I put netting up in the box behind the driver and passenger seats, so I hook the rosettes on to that (no pic sorry).

I have also filled my house with them, the joys of not having anyone else to be upset about all the horseyness ;).

Display box for the wonder that is Doodle, yet to be put on the wall and it's heavy and I am not good at DIY :

I put mine in the bin...am I a bad personal?! Or if possible I give them back or rehome them if they can be reused. As a kid i loved collecting them and I used to have them all hanging in strings across my room/the stairs but as I got older I realised how horrible and dusty they ended up so now I will only keep very special ones. They just don't matter to me.

I get them so infrequently that they are very precious to me :p I put them around my mirror on my dressing table, to remind me that it is not all to no avail :p

Cork board/drawing pins but I found out the hard way the kitchen is not a good place - they get dusty and it's greasy dust in a cooking area. Just thrown most of mine away (they are pretty old lol) they are difficult to keep clean

I have a wooden frame with inch square metal mesh that a friend made for me. I keep them in our tack room and just give them a quick dust down every once in a while.
