How do you exercise your minis?

Our 32" mini Shet will hack for three hours with a small rider on (child obv!) keeping pace and often beating a 15.2 Welsh D.

Treat them like normal horses and they are superb.

If I ride and lead he must have a bridle on or we can't keep up he's so keen.

That's not a 15.2 by the way in case anyone is wondering. She's 13.1 also Welsh and also very fast but not as fast as Titchy when he and my daughter want to win!

I have a friend who either lunges or goes cycling round our local woods on the bridle paths with the Shetland running along next to her being led off the push bike. Quiet funny to see really.

Mine is only a year old, & lives out on poor grazing with Trev the ex-racer. They both love a good hooley around the field, & it's funny watching her skipping along in a foaley manner trying to keep up with a race horse.

This is the day I got her, 5 months ago.
