I use a water- roll I found in our second-hand caravan we bought for Pony Camps.

Took me a little while to work out what it was. Thought I was very clever then went to a Polocrosse Tournament and loads of people were using them.

We have 2 fantastic homemade trolley things for in the yard.
They are basically square bits of wood large enough to accomodate a good sized trug, with non slip felt nailed to the top. They have small trolley wheels and a pull handle made of that thick blue rope. Fill the bucket under the tap whilst it's on the trolley and off you go!
Make life so much easier!
Most of our fields have troughs, but those that don't, we use the H20 bags :)

Not sure if anyone else has said this yet because I didnt have time to read the whole thread, but heres how I do it & have done for years....OK on a concrete yard, your results on grass may not be so good. Triangles are the answer, not squares.

Marine ply (it doesnt rot so easily) - cut into a triangle. Cut a small hole on one of the faces like a carrying handle. Fit some heavy duty wheels to it - you can get these from various places like Screwfix. One wheel on each corner. Attach a length of rope through the hole you cut. Voila. One bucket trolley.

Made loads of these over the years for people...should probably retail them & make a fortune eh?

I use those flexi tub trugs too. What I do is put a normal sized water bucket inside the trug to fill, it then overflows into the trug. When its full I loft out the water bucket and carry that and the half full trug one in each hand!
