how do you find the MVM raw food?

I am due to order some more raw meat for the dogs, the first lot I ordered was MVM and DAF, I found the sealed packaging and clear labeling on the MVM supplies really good but the meat was very bloody compared to the DAF meat, the DAF meat was not labeled at all but unclear writing on the bag and it rubbed off so I did not know what I was feeding each day, the bags were a better shape but not sealed and that was not great either.

so DAF seems on the surface a better product but not packaged well and MVM was packaged better but seemed of lesser quality.

Any opinions or findings/suggestions?

I have fed MVM for some time - yes, there is quite a lot of liquid that comes out of the food when it is defrosting, but I find it excellent quality, my dogs look fantastic on it, and you can't beat MVM for customer service

I personally wouldnt feed DAF, I have a better knowledge of how MVM source their products and have heard negative reports of the quality of the meat that DAF supply? But I have to say that is just heresay rather than fact!

If you look on their website you will see a lot about how their products are sourced etc - they breed a lot on their own farm - I am sure there are alternatives but I have never wanted to try them I must admit

I have just changed to manifold valley after years of natural instinct and making my own. I have hound it good quality reasonable price and easy to defrost. Also freezer space is good with it bring packed in rolls. I will be ordering more especially as Turkey is in offer in msrch

When I started feeding raw i used MVM, but I found the postage prohibitive, though they were a pleasure to deal with.

I switched to Berriewood as it is a standard £4.99 for postage no matter how much you order, I tend to do a fairly large order once a month so I do save a fair amount.

Both companies meats are of a good quality imho.

i order MVM from Daves doggie dinners and postage is £5 to any area, they deliver to my area last thurs each month
