Like most people I have to work to earn a living and keep my horses in the manner to which they have become acustomed and like most people I look forward to the weekends. However, there just isn't enough hours in the day or days in the weekend to fit everything in! lol
I had to go shopping for essentials on saturday, sort out the garden, ride my horse and cook and today by the time I had come back from seeing to the horses and sorted the washing and tumble drying out and hung 2 sets of long curtains, back from dry cleaners as cat decided to pee on them, it was almost lunch time, I then had the housework to do which only left me time to lunge my horse this afternoon before coming home to cook tea. And so on. Weekend almost over!
How do people who compete with their horses regularly manage to fit in housework and other such mundain chores? I'm not a house proud person but I do like to keep on top of housework, washing and ironing etc. and I would love to take my horse out more but can't face the thought of having double chores to do because of it! Husband tends to take care of outside ( which only involves cutting the grass in the garden ) and I ' do' the inside! With the nights drawing in there will be even less outside time to do stuff now :-(
