I lost my very best friend (horse) of twenty years two months ago (utterly heartbreaking time). Much as I adored my dear old boy, having had him since I was ten and with little experience, for about the past twelve years I have had a yearning for a youngster that is a bit spiky to grow with, bring on and hopefully do a bit of light hearted competing. That boy made himself known the other day and so I have bought him, he moved in on Saturday
.
I have never been afraid to get on a bit of a handful, but having not fallen off in such a long time (being so used to my old boy), I am actually finding the prospect a bit daunting
!! (And let's face it, it is bound to happen, he is a 5 year old Anglo Arab!!)
Any suggestions?..
