How do you handle rats?

The other thing to remember about rats is that unlike mice who can survive for a long time without water rats can’t so as well as removing food remove water at night as well.

A morbid contribution from me, just please be careful and always take sensible precautions where you suspect rodent activity. Within the last month my neighbour has sadly died from Weil's disease. Fit and healthy, younger than me and ironically only multiple cats as pets.

I'm picking up the food and water this evening and will have to make an extra to get out of bed in the morning. Trust me, I've whined in my head enough for two people. I'm going to get the stuff to raise the coop this weekend. I'm hoping the peanut butter and baking soda bombs are doing their job. I forgot to buy the chocolate covered pretzels this evening when I stopped to buy some on special food at the grocery store. At least I know to tie the bait to the pedal.
