Out 24/7 365 normally at home but currently 1/2 mile down the road babysitting an aged fretful tb and finally doing a good job
I do wish I had a decent field shelter and stable to dry them off for riding or in weather like this. They are rugged when necessary but I can tell they would like a break from the rain and a net full of hay from time to time. I do put hay in the field but it dissapears into the mud very quickly
Having always dreamed of having my horses at home and feeling restricted by all the rules at livery yards I can now see the grass isn't always greener. What I would give for a concrete platform for the farrier and a dry stable for when I want to dry them off to ride and somewhere to get them out of the mud and let their feet dry out.
Still work in progress first I have to save up then I have to get planning permission........ one day
