I bought some used 'Pikeur' breeches from eBay a few weeks back, and unfortunately they don't fit

(I'm not a Pikeur 26 no matter how much I breathed in!) so I am going to relist them however....I'm not 100% sure they actually ARE Pikeur as there are no labels on them, all they have is a horse and rider on the metal button, and a small metal tag on the belt loop which looks like it should have had something else hanging off it...

They are a sort of moleskin feeling fabric, with a clarino seat.

Having never bought any Pikeur before I'm not sure if these are genuine or not, and don't want to relist them as such if they are fakes! so Pikeur owners out there do these sound like the real thing?...

Darn eBay it's a love hate relationship

I have just looked at an old pair I have and they have the picture Weezy posted but without the text, and the metal behind the picture has stripes. The little metal tags that hang off the belt loop always fall off. Mine also have Pikuer and the picture of horse and rider on the waist band, but they are the lower waist band ones so yours might not have this if they are the higher waisted ones.

I normally buy a 26 and am a 26 in my Dublin ones, and my high waisted Toggi comp breeches, but these were seriously tight, I can do them up, but it wasn't pretty!

Being 2nd hand though they could have been washed hot so not sure if it is Pikeurs in general or just this pair but I would say they came up small! maybe I'm just getting fat!!

Chloe- before you relist them are they a long or regular length and what colour/condition are they in?

Maybe she said buy a size bigger! Thanks I will keep a look out unfortunitaly a 26 wont fit me! Good luck selling them on ebay you should get your money vack

I have had similar problems with buying jods on ebay. I bought asome size 26 Harry Hall ones that I couldn't get anywhere near done up, when I have a few pairs of size 24 in the same sort that I can just about get into OK. I reckon some of these ones that come up on ebay are probably seconds or have dodgy sizing and that's why they're on there. Makes me feel better anyway when I can't fit into a 26!!!

I want my pikeurs to come up small - I wear 26" Cavallo and Kentucky but my Pikeurs have to be 24" or they swim on me! I have a 26" pair I can take on and off without unfastening them
