How do you look after a body protecter?

When not using, keep it out of direct sunlight, so don't just leave it out on a car seat on a sunny day because apparently strong sunlight can weaken the foam stuff they use (that's what I've been told anyway..) and carry it around however you want! I usually hook my whip through the arm holes to act as a handle :p xx

Ours are hung on coat hangers and kept in the lorry at all times because then they're definitely at the yard, or at the comp venue! When we didn't have the lorry, they were kept hung up on coat hangers off the back of bedroom doors so they were out of direct sunlight and kept tidy so they didn't get folded! Also, if you sponge them down with a very slightly damp cloth after you use them, it stops them picking up any stale sweat smell...

Thanks for the advice :D The only problem is when I help out at the yard we usually leave our stuff in a room but i don't really want it to just be left out but i can't fit my protecter, boots, hat, whip etc into one bag??

Ah, with the hat, whip and BP, hook the whip through the armholes of the BP to make it into a handle so you can carry it, then do up the zip or whatever fastenings you have on the BP, and stuff the hat inside the torso. Doesn't usually fall out, and keeps everything neat and tidy :) xx

Mine is chucked on the backseat of the car. I use it every time I ride my mare, so I know where it is, but I dont' want to leave it at the yard just in case someone "accidentally" forgets that it doesn't actually belong to them and uses it.
