How do you make a velvet browband?

Thought I might have a go at making a velvet browband, but can't find instructions on how to do it anywhere.

Where can I find out?

You can do it with two or three strands of velvet.We used to make them in our own colours for showing show ponies, a long time ago.
Its easy you just get three thin velvet ribbons and criss cross them, you need to sew the ends neatly. Red white and blue very smart for little show ponies

They're pretty easy to do. When I made my one, I also added pretty buttonhole type things onto the ends.
