How do you stop foxes digging up your field?

I've got it!

Set a bear trap. Dig a large hole, very wide and deep. Cover it with leaves and branches, fox walks over it completely oblivious, falls in, et voilà! Trapped fox.

Then transport said fox to the field of someone you don't like and release him.

Bit of a faff, but if you love your horse you'd take the time ;)





Or Tarmac the field.
 
I believe getting men to p*ss wound the field boundary can warn off foxes quite well!! Depending on the size of ur field you may need a lot of men though!!! And if its in a built up area it could be kind of tricky!!!! :-)
 
Hahaha that's it Fornema, we'll just have to invite a lot of men over and have some sort of bizarre weeing party!

I hear some people have managed to scare pesky teenagers away with classical music? Although if foxes in stories are anything to go by they'd probably put on tweed jacket and enjoy it...

Perfect - the land belongs to the University, so there will be loads of students who will probably be delighted to help. Just tell them there's going to be a massive p*ss up at the field!!
 
On a more serios note, this is off the Fox Website!!

If foxes are denning under your shed, just soak some rags or straw with a deterrent (available at most garden centres) and loosely block all the holes, which are the entrances to the den.

Do not block the holes with bricks as this will prevent the female from getting to the cubs and they will starve to death. Each morning replace the rags and straw in the hole. Once the rags or straw have not been moved for a couple of days, there will be no foxes left under your shed and you can permanently block the holes.

Sad about the Kitten but you should be thanking them for getting rid of Pheasants and Muntjac! Pheasants are stealth stalkers who explode out of the undergrowth and are also suicidal, Muntjacs are pesky eaters of Garden Shrubs and flowers and as far as Deer go, hit every branch when falling from the Ugly Tree, shoot them all too! ;)
