I've tried Vaseline but it only seems to work for a short time - maybe I'm not putting it on think enough. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Many thanks.

the yard i used to work at used WD40, im not sure id personally do that.

there was also a horse with natural balance shoes, and it never had a problem.

but i think going barefoot is the best way from what others have said.

My boy is barefoot & he still gets "snow clogs" as I call them!
We tried vaseline last year but it didnt work so I dont have any suggestions sorry! But being barefoot doesnt really make a difference.

:Dpress kids playdoh into thier feet it goes hard once they put thier feet on the ground and stops the snow balling up. Colurful too. :D

i slick some lard in there feet and then wrap them tightly in vet wrap

the vet wrap pings out any snow balls and if it comes off then the lard helps the snow balls come out

It's a pricey alternative, but I was so desperate to go out one Sunday I packed MSM cream in his feet, it worked a treat !

Loving the playdoh idea :D
