He looks alot better. Why was he in that condition when you got him? was he a sort of rescue?

Well, We saw him advertised on Horsemart, went to see him, and to cut a long story short, he was once a good eventer, but had to be sold for reasons like divorce, moving countries and redundancy, before ending up at a dealer. He was left in a field where a lady who knew his old owner spotted him, and bought him to sell to a good home. He is fab under saddle but is unfourtunately pretty nasty, so we are having a behaviourist soon.
