How do you use pig oil?!?

Because I just saw some and bought it. All I know about it is that lots of people on HHO like it and it said it will help keep my horses clean!

So what do I do with it?!

My horses don't have feathers but they do love mud so thought I'd buy it and then hopefully find out on here what I should be doing with it!!!

Tips would be great, I can share my maison blanc chocolate cake with you all

Manes and tails, mud feather etc! Can pop it in a squinty container. Careful applying too much to coat but will repel mud...

How many squirts ish would be enough? Per leg maybe?!

I give my little shettie about 5 squirts on each leg and then rub it in really well with my hands - about 2 squirts in tail and mane for luscious locks! chuckle.

I tip mine into an old supplement pot then use a paint brush to apply to her legs

It's like baby oil and depends on hair..... I have traddy cob so 6 squirts on a leg but loads of feather! Careful in summer, oil and sun not a good mix! Some people mix in with flower of sulphur, I never have!

I have just posted a thread on the best way I have found for applying to feathers. But as yours is a non feathered I would use an old spray bottle.

I just put it on a sponge and then wipe the sponge on her legs, brilliant stuff, especially for hunting!

I usually put a bit on a sponge and rub it all over and she just shines. When she's just been clipped I fill a bucket with hot water and put some in, I use an old dishcloth, dunk it in wring it out and wipe her all over and she looks stunning

We poor abit into a tub then massage onto legs with rubber gloves and a paint brush it's fantastic pig oil !

I put it in a tub and use a sponge to rub it in. The only problem I have is that because his legs and tail are white, he looks really oily and manky and yellowish with it on but I can live with that on a day to day basis and I just wash it all off if he is going partying.

He comes up really really white after you wash it off
