How do you wear your body protector?

I always used to wear mine under a shirt and now wear it over the top as my current one is a bit longer at the back. Just wondering what most people did and why?

used to wear it over but got some really nice new x-country colours and wanted to show them off so now i wear it under...shame about the numbers though!

Wear mine over the top only because its designed in my colours.

My very old one which used to have that LOVELY NOT

strap through your legs I used to wear a huge rugby shirt over the top.

I wear usually wear mine over a sleeveless shirt and my stock (so I know the ends won't escape!), with a horseware top over it. I think it's made of lycra, it's certianly very stretchy, so much so that I can actually get in on myself instead of getting stuck and wandering around looking like a penguin with a coordination problem! If very hot I will just have it over the shirt.

Before that I used to wear a x-country shirt over the top!

I hate that when it gets stuck! I have a waterproof top that I use for doing XC in the rain and it gets stuck on my shoulders! Feel like an idiot having to get help to get dressed.

I wear mine over as its my xc colours with a white shirt underneath.

Over shirt and stock as have bp in XC colours.
With wet weather next season in mind though, I have bought a waterproof jacket in my XC colours so can wear that over body protector next year if its wet.

For XC, I wear it over the top as its my XC colours.

Over the top of everything including my show jacket. It's too big to fit under and it rubs if I just wear a T-Shirt.

I did an equine specific 1st aid course and we were told to always always wear them on top as the time taken to remove a shirt could cost a life.

i always wear mine over the top. its so much easier to put on and taske off! and like Thistle, i think its more of a safety thing!
