Inspire me please!

I have reasearched them both on the internet but have only managed to find little bits of information.

Case studies?

What exactly do you have to write about them?

There must be a sciencey bit about how they work...

I love hibiscrub, I used it to wash feed bowls, cat dishes as well as wounds. Its also good for spots!

I believe surgeons use it for scrubbing up.

HIBISCRUB is an antimicrobial preparation for pre-operative surgical hand disinfection, antiseptic handwashing on the ward, pre-operative skin antisepsis for patients undergoing elective surgery.
COMPOSITION: A detergent skin cleansing solution containing chlorhexidine gluconate 4,0 g/100 mL as the active ingredient and n-propanol 4,0% (m/v) as a preservative.

Look into its ingredients and uses??????????????

What wound cream precisely????? Dermisol???? That green one that was fab, can't remember what it was called now!!!????

For Hibiscrub - Google chlorhexedine - entire rainforests have been descimated in its research and uses.

The reason it works so well as an antibacterial is because the molecules adhere to the skin giving it a long lasting action.

I know you can find loads of information on it if you look as i have written 10,000 words on it in the past!!

I had to use it on my dogs nose when it came up in blisters after he stuck his face in something that didn't agree with him....if that helps!

If its for an equine assignment i would include wether they are permitted for use under FEI rules during competition, and possible allergies or side effects. Purple spray is also chlorohexine gluconate.

hahahaa

Dermobion was the green wound cream/gel i used to get from the vets....was great for everything but now they have stopped getting it for some reason....

I would also write a bit about how using a wound cream (of any type really) can help wound healing, as opposed to just leaving the wound to dry out. That would take up quite a bit

I'm probably too late now but you could divert onto alternatives to wound cream - sprays, powders and say why you would use cream instead of those.

And obviously pros and cons of the stuff all over the place, perhaps mention allergies to, side effects drugs and doping rules if the apply?

Hibiscrub isnt licenced to be used on horses, so you soon wont be able to buy it from vets/tack shops. Also, it should not be used on open wounds/sores...

You could invent a new club drink - "Hibi-Bull" - give it a go. Red Bull kills the taste of most things. Gives you a very clean tasting high with no risks of bacterial related problems in the morning.

Give your college something to really worry about...

Hi,

I was advised, when picking an essay topic, that if you can't think of the questions you should be raising & where you should be starting - you should pick another topic to write about! Two pages (A4) will be approx 500-800 words. Is there something else you could pick?

Ps..re: Dermobion - somebody told me it had a link to infertility in women..!!

Could be total bollox though!
