Ethel is a 3yo TB mare, currently not in work, just in the field 24/7 but will be doing some ridden work hopefully as of Tuesday. Not anything major, just 2 or 3 days a week having ten minutes in the school doing a bit of walk and trot and circles and maybe a walk out on the road with another pony. But I was just wondering what you guys thought of her, whether she needs more weight on or if she needs to lose it, she currently has one scoop of happy hoof just to mix her biotin through once a day, and just any suggestions as to feed etc if she needs weight on/off etc :)
So .. here she is ...

all opinions and suggestions welcome :) dont be worried about offending me :p

First 2 pics look just like a typical tb but on bottom pic I would like a little bit more coverage over the ribs BUT a lot off tbs are built like that anyway. I feed all mine topspec so they get balanced vit/mins and are covered nicely.

I agree with Moggy, though in the picture of her bum, it looks like she's really muscle-y? Might be just me tho :)

She looks really well an healthy, though, nicely fit, not skinny or fat!

thanks :)
maybe i should try her on top spec then and she if she gets some more covering over her ribs then? what can i use for her neck to fill out a bit, or being a TB will it always be like that or improve with work?? Ive only ever had stocky ponies with fat necks so her twiggy neck annoys me lol.
She doesnt seem to have lost any muscle off her bum since i got her, shes been out of training 6 months + now and ive only done some lunging with her now and then and ridden her once lol, i dont really understand that. I know it takes a while for the muscle to go but didnt think it was this long??
