How does the TB look in winter?

Lives out with 2 feeds per day (beet and oil) and ad-lib hay and haylage put out. Not in work.

Weight-wise looks good, there is a lack of muscle but that is to be expected - how old is he/she?

The only thing I can comment on is that the coat looks a bit dull, but then it is the middle of winter!
 
It looks fine. Loss of topline and muscle but as poster above says that's to be expected if horse isn't in work. I personally would not want it to lose weight but if it remains at this level then that's okay. My TBs are much more covered but we have much more serious winter weather over here than you do in the UK so I like to get them chunked up quite a bit before the onslaught of winter.
