Just looking at Stubben4u (was reading Tia's thread about Stubben bridle parts) and came across this Furlongs Anti-vice haynet

The blurb doesn't actually state how it's Anti-vice - so how does it work and can it really be worth £32 for a haynet??? Just curious really as I have a haybar LOL

WTF looks fairly similar to a regular small hole hay/haylage net, just with a strange square base

Can only assume the 'anti vice' bit is the fact it has small holes.

LOL don't use nets anyway, I have a haybar too.

My Husband bought one for his old horse(sadly no longer with us). Think we paid about £25 for it. He used to eat his nets but never ate that one. I now use for my fat greedy one and it really slows him down. It is about 4 years old now and still going strong. Don't think I would pay that for another one though. Very pricey.

A lady on my yard has got a couple of these, they are basically a small holed hay net but with VERY small holes, they are also made alot stronger, i personally would spend that much on a net, but it does make his haylage last longer.
