How does you horse make you feel...

Just a pointless post really but just wondering what you feel or think when you have just time to waste with your horse/s
Ill start
I feel free and alive and can forget all my worries whether they be money,love life or work.
 
I feel that I miss Ted, everyminute I have to think about horses, I think about Ted and how much I miss him. But when I am around Cato, Im starting to see her personality and she makes me giggle.

I feel so lucky to have a lovely patient girlie like Melly. She puts up with a lot, Inc me snotting on her neck when Ive had a bad day!
I cant imagine life without horses! xx

usually amused, peaceful, worried lol and very occasionally frustrated. but every day without a doubt....they make me feel very very lucky.

lucky to have the chance to know such a brilliant animal so closely and affectionately

yea I know that one I miss Mr Maxamillion loads but when am around my new horse Miss Dancer She makes me smile but shes a female version of him anway

Cato is the opposite of Ted in so many way.. yet the same in so manyways. Im still greiving for him badley. To be honest I think I always will. He was a horse of a life time. I wont ever have anothe like him.. And im crying again.. I got to go to work with Red eyes a gain FFS

Most of the time pretty good but some occasions a complete novice who has no idea what they are doing - he has the smug tb look down the nose at numpty owner down to a tee

Horses have been the one constant in my life no matter what country I have been living in, what realtionship I have been involved in or what job I have been doing I have always had my horses.

So for me it is my chance to be me, not David's Executive Assistant, James's Partner, or William and David's Step Mum....just 100% me

And you always will remember and think of him,mum says my room is like a shrine to my boy but shes exadurating lol but not really he just has his corner on top of my draws where he is in his box with his album beside it and a few of my favorite pics on the walls in frames.
Every now and then ill look through his album and laugh and cry at some pics beacuse I remember what happened that day or just after the pic was taken ect lol
but that makes our animals special beacuse they are a huge part of our lives
My boy bless him and my new girl are the reason I get out of bed and go to work everyday
 
My boy makes me feel like I am the luckiest horse owner in the world. When I am with him, whether it be pottering with him following me in his field or on a wonderful hack my mind clears, I forget all about the world and my worries and all I think about is him, enjoying every second of our time together.
 
Absolutely everything from frightened, panicky, frustrated, annoyed, and disappointed; through stupid, humble, and at a loss where to turn next; via hopeful, optimisitc, and expectant to delighted, proud, fulfilled and deleriously happy. The one constant is that when I am with him I think about nothing else, I just get lost in his world and working on what is best for him and how to get the best out of him. No other hobby has ever given me that. In the gym, walking the dog my mind always wanders, but not when I'm with him, I can lose hours just grooming him or tidying him up, even just sitting in the field with him.

when ever I think about my horses whether they be living or not I have a smile from ear to ear and I feel like I am the luckiest girl for miles!
We may moan (with out meaning it) when its cold, wet and dark or we rush up after or beofre work in smart clothes and they decide that they would like to share their breckfast / tea with us but we love them more than anything in the world and wouldnt change a thing.
Ive spent days where I have just wondered up the yard and sat in the field just watching and nothing else.ppl who dont have animals mainly horses are missing out !
 
When handling him I love him to bits

my time with my horse is so precious to me. its a time when i can really relax and forget about stress etc. most days its an hour before work to groom, feed and muck out the field. I usually hack out two to three times a week. i waited 25 yrs to have my own and i still cant quite believe i've been a horse owner for just over a year now. i love to watch him grazing and just being him in the field. i hve to keep telling myself, he's mine!!! The most precious moments are when my sons are riding him, they make me feel so proud with their progress and when i see how happy they are to be with our horse, it makes me bubble up with happiness.
