Get zips put in a pair of leather riding boots?

tell me about it, the reason I'm asking is that I couldn't get my boots off on sunday, I actually broke a boot jack in half and they still didn't budge.
My poor friend had to pull them off me and it took ages and really hurt, I ended up getting cramp

Its not - if the look on the cobblers face is anything to go by when I use to take boots to him fo be repaired. I now have to send them back to manufacturer to be done

Last thing you want is cramp...i spend the whole of the journey home from stables trying to get my boots off whilst my mom just laughs at me. Least your friend was kind enough to help you get them off!

My saddler did mine for me, didn't cost much and he did a great job.

I might see if the local saddler can do them although I dread to think what they would charge, it cost me £8 to get a headcollar repaired!

That is the reason I always buy boots with zips in.

My Treadstone Junior ones are good. If they ever stop making them I don't know what I'm going to do as they're the only long leather boots I've found in a size 2
