I just fell flat on my face along the High Street with numerous onlookers watching. {{{{Cringe}}}}

Was holding my 4 year old's hand at the time, too. Did anyone rush to help? NO. Not even the middle aged bloke standing 10 feet away, leaning against a wall. Huh. Charming. My son did his best to pull me to my feet. "Ah, see. Even Mummy falls down".

I fell onto my knee, on the same leg I broke my ankle in April. Got a bloody great hole in the knee of my brand new jeans and a lovely big graze as well.

Anyway, decided it was time to buy myself a walking stick and to stop trying to walk without my crutch. My balance on my right leg is still too dodgy. I'm supposed to be taking my yearling to the Futurity next week and am just wondering how it's going to look, me leading her around in one hand with a walking stick in the other. Do you think I might qualify for the sympathy vote? Got to say, should be interesting loading her into the trailer. I gotta look on the bright side!

You'll be like one of them old farmers who uses their walking stick as a 'training aid'

I'm sorry, I hope you get better soon.
