About 4 hours, Warwickshire to Kent. His ad went up on the Saturday, called Saturday night, viewed Sunday morning, collected Wednesday. God bless my mother who drove all around the country looking at horses for me (including down to Hereford to see a horse who we'd been faithfully promised was healthy, seen pics & videos of but failed to notice they only showed one side, to discover it was having it's eye removed the next week. What a waste of time!)
Viewed a horse 20 minutes away from me last weekend but was just not for me (cracker of a horse tho just not the type I like on the ground) and went to the Blue Cross yesterday to view 2, which was fine as I was visiting parents at the time and it's only 50 mins/an hour from them, however to go back for a second look at one it's going to be a 3 hour journey, yucky.
Am looking at some via a lady who is about 20 minutes down the road on Thursday morning tho who ironically I know via here & a local dealer/trainer.
Would happily travel if I knew the seller, for example if I had the money and capabilities to have a horse off measles on here I would happily go up to Scotland (from Surrey) as hers all appear to be more than genuine, but with an unknown private seller I wouldn't go that far at all so am trying to look locally this time around!
