I keep mine at a Private Yard half an hour's drive away (18 miles) along with my mum and her horse. They are on DIY, they are living out 24/7 at the moment so I go once per day at the moment to them as the yard owner lives on site so they are kept an eye on anyway. I work 10 mins drive away so I am close by quite often too. Not sure how things will pan out over the winter months as I haven't had a winter at this yard yet but between me and my mum we should be able to do it.
