how far is your part/full livery yard?

About 6 /7 mins drive. Have considered moving to yards with more facilities but would push the journey to upwards of 15/20 mins . The thought of having to do that journey night after night doesn't appeal so have stayed put

3 miles, absolutely nothing in the car but I have been training to do a charity run (there's no way I'd be doing it otherwise) so ran (well slowly jogged) to the yard last Sunday. 3 miles is actually a very, very, very long way ...

3.4 miles door to door, takes me roughly 6-7 mins in the car. Never walked it but sure I could if needed!
I'm also planning on cycling some days, but a bit awkward as I don't keep my saddle there

Enron my house to the yard is 42 kms and it takes me about 50 minutes as long as I go out of rush hour. Because of age and bad health my horse cannot be moved now and he is happy and used to being there but it costs in time and petrol

20-30 mins in car, not sure in mileage but it's s right pain to get to. I hate the journey!!
Would absolutely move if I could but there's no livery around here, and turnout here is appalling so I endure it for the turnout ( not that it's perfect but it's the best I've had so far!)

Similar dilemma myself

Less than a minute in the car, I would walk/cycle but the road is scary.
Best thing is, it's the closest yard I've been at, and I love it. It's only me and the owners and they are lovely

I am so jealous of those of you who live close to yards!! I thought mine was really close and handy - it's 30 mins drive from my house, 6.9 miles apparently. Not bad for quite an urban area really, but I would love to have a 10 or 15 minute pootle to get there.

Sounds like my area where good yards are miles away haha

My full livery was about 15 mins from our current house. When we move it would have been about 35mins but as I have a small baby in tow it has been easier to move her to the same village as us on DIY.

Unfortunatly the pony moved in two months before we have and I've had to travel 25 mins every day to see to pony on DIY, thankfully she's living out at the moment as I couldn't do twice a day with a baby in tow!
