How far to your horses?

I'm just wondering how far people would consider reasonable (time / miles) to get to their horse(s) daily?
I know this can vary greatly between people and their requirements etc so it's just a general question.

No clue on mileage but roughly a 20 minute triangle between home, work and the yard. Never been closer as yards aren’t as plentiful here

I used to do 45 minutes daily but that was a long time ago when fuel was a lot cheaper!!! I lived in London so limited options back then. Now I’d do max 25 mins I think or it just gets too costly. Currently 8 minutes x

5 miles - 10 minute drive. That's the furthest away they have ever been. Shorter distances I used to cycle but I don't fancy cycling these days with so many ignorant drivers about.

I currently do 50 minutes (public transport and carpooling combined) one way, and it's one of the closest yards I've had in several years. There even was a time when I spent 7 HOURS a day (public transport+waiting times) to get to the yard, because the care there was outstanding, but that obviously wasn't sustainable long-term.

Very jealous of those of you with ponies outside your back doors! I can see mine if I lean far enough out the bathroom window Gogh as it's only 3/4 mile and about 8 mins on foot. 4 mins in the car...or sometimes half an hour because the roads are whack

1.4 miles by road, 4km by bike/on foot (off-road).

They used to be about 15 miles / 30 minutes away by car, on DIY, or about 45 minutes away on full. This is so much easier!

Exactly 3 miles, 10 minute drive. The last mile is along single track mostly private lane so is not somewhere you can belt along.

2 miles, takes 8 - 10 minutes to drive due to twisty roads. Used to do 10 miles which was a 25 minute blast down the motorway, so much happier now!

I don't drive so I'm jst over an hour on public transport. When my other half runs me I'm about 20 mins
