Just curious as all current journeys are very short and on twisty roads so I rarely get above 30mph - what's your upper limit in a 3.5 Renault master type van on a straight road like a motorway?

60 ish is good if the weather is ok and other trafic is moving freely..your not hamering the thing and keeping up with the trafic so you dont get rear ended...

If it were a clear quiet day i would not do more than 60. If it were busy i would make sure i had plenty of stopping distance and would keep up with the traffic flow, and stick alongside the trucks limited to 56.

As soon as it got foggy, icy, or heavy rain or traffic i would slow down but keep with the traffic flow
