how high cn yer horsie jump then?

Dur, who needs reins, a neck strap is enough you know! Oh and yes, I should have mentioned her sad affliction which means she is constantly lame - she doesn't mind, I wheel her around :D

Did you use parelli to get her used to the wheeling?

Of course :) It involved a suede stick, the next stage up to the lowly carrot stick, 13 metres of ultra strong yachting rope and some barbed wire, but I got there :D

yes of course parelli will help with the jump off, infact if you do enough parelli your horse will start talking to you, so off you go and try some and let us know if you hear any voices from your horse. good luck OP

Is this a 'Bridgestone'??

Looks like it could be - sure to help with those unruley mares!!

Yeah, it is really good for grip, stopping and starting - in fact Michael Schumacher has been testing the system out and it looks great...

DAmmit, I am really cross, there was a photo in H&H of him doing it but I cannot find one online.

Barking doesn't come close!! Me thinks OP has been on the wine tonight.. Then again, haven't we all - Iam still celebrating!!

Im too young to drink and mum says its past my bedtime so nighty-night all! (off to dream about jumping 2m with my brand new bridgestone bit in)
thanx for all your fab advise.

PS well done today Ruthnmeg.

michelin is better, my horse can jump 2.80m and has cut fuel costs- he gets 3 blades of grass a day. Weezy- my horse can jump the great wall of china! :D

*moving onto the 3rd glass of wine :) *

okay no joke here :') last night i had a dream that we all arranged a war with the people we hate on this forum and the admin started to delete some of us and the police got involved and then we had a big war with eachother, like an old-fashioned one with our horses :L and then it turned into a comedy act and she who-shall-not-be-named horse galloped off into the distance so she put a pelham on and her horse reared and bucked and cos it went so crazy everyone elses horses had a panic attack and in the end i was sat on my own :/ with a bunch of bombproof cobs and their owners :) we then got banned frm HHO :) oh god whata funny dream :)

moral being, if you want to win the war put on a pelham :P

Too much chocolate??

C - stop taking the smoking the funny stuff hun! Have a nice hot choccy instead :D

As to special gadgets, go to QuickFit, lovely chaps. You can sit in reception and have a nice cup of tea while you're waiting :D. I'm having Dizzy brakes reinforced next week......

My ponios don't jump, they are dressage divas darling :D Although I will admit to jumping when they stand on my toes, the little sweeties are starting to make a habit of it recently so much so that I have resorted to whacking them around the head with a cucumber stick, it is particularly satisfying if I make the draw reins too tight because they can't really get away from me then - rolkur is a life saver:)

:? :O am i the only one in thinking that you got banned?! lol

tying them together does that help improve clearing then i take it? hmm Ive some latex wrap might try that

Oh yep, for sure. You see when the horsey bends its leg, the tied one has to bend too - so both leggys bend together clearing the jumpy. Same applies to the back legs. Its similar to the three legged race at sports day!

mines can jump 1.30 but were only doing 80 atm as shes a bit lame :( so i dont want to push her you no what i mean also she gets a bit strong going into the fence should i get a new briddle what do yous think??? Ps she gets a big bucket of competition mix as shes a sj should i feed her more 2 give her energy???

OH what IS this forum coming to? I give up!
